After a season and a half I tore down my 05-year Marathon SL, finding it's
as clean as an operating room inside with no visible wear on any seal,
slider, or wiper. Brilliant, this exercise was overkill but what the heck I
like to see how stuff disassembles ...
I'm having trouble getting the TST cartridge back into the stanchion thanks
to that bladder. The last little bit swells and seems to prevent insertion,
at least without risk of tearing the bladder. I'm following the helpful
instructions here:

Step 12 instructs me to keep the TST locked up/out to mitigate the swelling
and ease insertion. My first attempts have it locked out with the
cartridge's shaft fully extended. Do I have it backwards? Should its shaft
be fully retracted instead?
