Well we did the Auburn/Toorak road city ride yesterday and it was very successful. Thanks for the info - a great spot to park etc etc. We did all agree that it was not long enough, next time we will go further out or pick another trail. We are lucky enough to have so many bike paths in Melbourne.
Our pal doing the 9 day Victorian bike ride parked her 'freebie' at southbank and was careful not to confuse it with 2 others parked there as well
All these new people getting bikes and enjoying the rides - hey... it can't be bad.
Today we tried a small section of the Warburton Trail. I have a hybrid bike and think I would prefer to do this with Mountain Bike tyres. But it's all good... wouldn't like to try the roads though... too many mad car and 4 wheel drivers!!
