I've posted numerous times in recent weeks with regards to issues I've had getting a corect fit on a
frame (TCR) I purchased recently. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's offered advice.
There's an amazing amount of knowledge in this group!
I've been measuring, trying out, thinking, dreaming and talking bikes and bike fit almost none stop
for the past month (girlfriend not best pleased, wondering what she ever saw in me, team mates avoid
me on long training rides.... etc.) but it turns out that the best frame for me is the small TCR I
had all along. - there will still be more seat-post sticking out than is to my taste, but it
actually FITS, with room for adjustment if necessary. (For anyone who's interested, I would have
needed to have the saddle very far forwards and an 80-90mm stem on the medium to get the correct
reach!! I think I'm S/M in truth - just a shame Giant don't recognise there are more riders like me
who fall into the large gaps betwen their sizes).
