I went out at lunchtime to cycle into town, as I had a
parcel to post off to Australia. Cold and wet, but great
for cycling as it was a tailwind into town. The weather
was actually okay, as I dressed appropriately, so stayed
dry and warm.
Cycling back was another matter. Bracing is the term I
think. A headwind all the way back, and it's a bit much when
you have to pedal downhill to keep going forwards. As I got
on the outskirts of home village it started to hail. That
woke me up and caused me to get a move on.
But it did wake me up and leave me refreshed for the rest
of the day.
