I ride a "TRUE NORTH CUSTOM TOURING BIKE", dark green with yellow trim. They are hand made by a young Canadian in Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario. Hugh Black is his name and he has a web page under "true north cycles". Check out his page for prices & colours. I'm very happy with my bike...........byfred

I've looked at their website - http://www.truenorthcycles.com/
Very cool bikes!
What kind of tour do you do? Have you cycled across canada yet?

Hi Fabs:
I tour exclusively with my wife. We are seniors, both retired & with all the time in the world. We have cycled across Canada three times now, although we have never done the complete "Ocean to Ocean" in one ride. We live in central Canada, (Ontario) and have flown to Vancouver and biked home three times, and have rode out to Halifax and taken the train home three times.
The last few summers, we have toured in the Canadian Maritimes. I like to refer to that area as "bicycle candyland" If you get a chance, go to <http://photos.yahoo.com/byfred> and I have posted some pictures from our last summer's tour. There is a lot of family stuff on that site as well, like my big sister's 80th Birthday Party, but you might be interested in the section under "maritimes".
I'm a "novice" to these computers but this technology just "blows me away". Isn't it wonderful?
Let me know if I can provide you with any Canadian information...........byfred

quite impressive! I've only done a couple of short tours in the UK where I live now. I am actually a beginner in touring and have have only two photos of my bike when I was touring in Devon this summer. I am 34 and tour on my own.
Next year I plan to cycle from the Uk across France to grenoble in the Alps which is where I come from. I look foward to that and keep looking at the map!
One of my dreams is to cycle across Canada. May be I'll contact you in a couple of years for some advice...
Keep pedaling.
