The Actionbent Jetstream Recumbant

Warranty concerns on Actionbent bikes are a moot point, since Actionbent went out of business. It appears to have happened in July.

While the Actionbent Jetstream Recumbent may seem like a bargain, let's not forget the old adage, "You get what you pay for." At $595, it's certainly on the lower end of the price spectrum. However, a closer look reveals some potential drawbacks. For instance, the 30lb weight may be manageable, but it's far from the lightest in its class. Additionally, Actionbent is not a well-known brand in the recumbent community, which may raise questions about after-sales support and spare parts availability. It's crucial to conduct a thorough cost-benefit analysis, taking into account factors such as build quality, performance, and long-term ownership costs. A truly informed decision should never be made solely based on the initial sticker price.
