I've bought Pearl Izumi, Louis Garneau, and Descente AeroX. The Descente's are the best for me. Regarding cycling clothing, the more expensive stuff is better. I've not hit the part of the curve where the diminishing returns outweight the costs; The Descente shorts cost twice as much as the PI shorts but I no longer wear the PI's, the Descente's are just so much more comfortable.encomium said:just a bit of a poll to see what people think which clothing manufacturer has the best padding.

What's this in term of ride time/miles? I'm finding recommendations made to me about things like shorts are falling well short of expectation only to have someone say to me "Oh, well I don't ride as much as you." I had great recommendations on the Performance Century bibs, but they lasted me 3-3 1/2 months which translated to about 4200km / 142 hrs.geoffs said:I bought 2 pairs of the Sugoi RS bibs and one had the lycra fall to pieces after 12mths and the other ones padding only lasted 7 mths before wearing out.
Iv tried so many different types and makes of bib shorts over the years and have finally found a comfortable decent fitting clothing made by Spiuk. I found it at www.spiuk.co.ukencomium said:just a bit of a poll to see what people think which clothing manufacturer has the best padding.
