Hippy and Dutchy would never get to work. They'd just spend their lives
going in an aero tuck trying to get break their latest downhill
speed/cadence record.

I thought one of the benefits of bicycles was the
fact that they don't need motors to operate?
and think of the wind noise.. tail winds are good
though :)

If you really don't want to pedal much.. what about
some kind of magnetic propulsion system like you'd
find in a rail gun.. magnets on the bike and road
change polarity (or something?) causing the bike to
move along.. slackers unite! :)

AND HOW! ;-)

Hmm.. cycling content needed.. hmm..

"Hightail Ale discovered as optimum post-ride
recovery formula"

CSIRO scientist Dr. Inkalot revealed today that
the specially formulated brew contained the
correct balance of carbohydrates, branch chain
amino acids, electrolytes, secret herbs and spices
and a very special compound known in the trade
as "good beer". Combined as they are, when ingested,
these ingredients are absorbed by the body more
rapidly than water or sports drinks to provide the
athlete with a super-dense, ultra-fast released source
of muscle restoration and energy liberation.

Still no good.. okay here's something on topic..

Wind-noise removing headphones!
So you've built the most silent running bike ever..it
doesn't matter because all you can hear is the gush
of wind over your ears! Well with the new WindKill
headphones you can ride as fast as you like with no
gush! Hear that car as sideswipes you.. Hear the
magpie diving towards your skull for the kill.. Listen
to 3AW on a Critical Mass ride.. yes folks.. all of this
WITHOUT wind noise!!!

Place an order within the next 10mins and we'll also
include a set of vegetarian steak knives...

The $ 150 or so "Y-project" (or something) Castelli knicks have a rather
comfy synthetic chamois which is mostly red (tho the margins are black,
and bit on front near ones wing-**** is white synthetic towelling).
I've worn thru 2 pairs which have lasted 12 mths of 6 to 7 day a week
use, and will be buying them again once the current pair completely fall
apart. Unless I can find Pearl Izumi knicks (very unlikely)... tho I
haven't seen or worn any PI knicks that have chamois-s that are any
other colour than white).

Front "pointy" part of a saddle, right?

possibly patented by Fi'z'i'k as relating to Wing Flex Technology.

It's a small, somewhat ugly, and rather over-hyped piece of equipment.
Ryan Bayley, Bradley McGee, Graeme Brown, and all of the Mens Team
Pursuit team have them, but Anna Meares, Sara Carrigan (and Kathy Watt -
I drafted behind her for a kilometre or so, once!) don't. Jana Pitman
doesn't have one, come to think of it, but it's not an Olympic gold
medal, either... though some of the women athletes from the old East
Germany may have had them %-P .
You definitely wouldn't want this piece of equipment to be left on your
bicycle when you get off... but those probably very comfy saddles with
the holes down the middle
http://www.terrybicycles.com/product.html?c=Saddles
always make me worry that, if my bike had one of those saddles, I might
leave mine behind if I got off my bike too quickly ...

Some kind of highly explosive rocket powered magpie annihilation device
would be a winner.

Here's a low tech solution... A Squash Racquet... dive, swipe, SQWAAAARK, thump.

Is "woftam" something to do with "Wotanism"? I sincerely hope not.
"Identity Christianity" - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Just as long as it isn't Wotanism and Christian Identity, guys.

I'd soooooooooo much rather be filking, cos-playing, fan-fic-ing
(including slash of Lance Armstrong and Ryan Bayley, perhaps... Beam me
up, Scotty, the Kirk/Spock analogies is getting deeply, deeply out of
hand, here...)

Or something.
