I have read your thoughts about 14cm stems with much enthusiasm. I used to ride years ago and are currently restoring oh so slowly a 1990 Pinarello to get back into it.
This has been so frustrating trying to find all the parts that I am worried I am almost losing my enthusiam. I wish I just spent the money and bought a completed bike in the first place.
It would have meant that I wouldn't of missed the Summer on 2 wheels.
The final item I have got to get is a Pinarello stem. The one in particular that I have found is 14cm (The only one I can find) . The stem looks great detailing wise and has fantastic Pantographed detailing on it. The Pinarello frame is 3cm shorter than my previous Gitane frame so maybe it may be OK. My Gitane had a 100-110mm. I almost want to just buy it so I can finish the project and get on the road. Any thoughts or knowledge of where to buy a smaller one would be appreciated.
