Vadar I dont think Renshaw will be at the Tour next year.

Ciolek is a great leadout man, and they have too many certainties for selection.

Hincapie captain (not leader, just captain)
    Cavendish
    Kirchen
    Ciolek
    Lovqvist
    Gerdemann

they are certainties. They lost Eisel, so a spot does open up. Point is, there are only 3 spots.

Rogers I think will go, because Stapleton intentionally left him off he Tour team in case the Freiburg uni blood transfusion convoy scandal broke big during the Tour for their new sponsor Columbia.

    So, 3 spots.

minimum one mountain domestique, which seems to be Siutsou, then one general domestique, and Hansen has a monopoly on that position.

So, I think it leaves one more leadout man to fill the position.

    3 spots:
    Rogers (unlikely, as probably leaving)
    Siutsou (likely the mtn domestique)
    Hansen (likely the specialist domestique)
Greipel (likely leadout man to replace Eisel)
    Renshaw (in competition with Greipel)
    Wiggins (see Greipel)
Grabsch (see the position Hansen has)

Stapleton probably wants another American in the Tour team, but Devine and Lewis don't have the legs yet. He may buy a rider, but I don't know who is a free agent on the transfer market, and I dont know if there is a rider of the calibre Stapleton would wish.

Excellent post. I'm just glad Renshaw found his way to this team. I love the lineup.

I think you are right, in which case there is a spot for him.

And if Ciolek does not go to Milram he is a soft cock. I think he is the second best sprinter in the peloton behind Cav, and if you dont believe me, see last years Germany Tour, he would have sweeped the sprints if he did not crash one stage, and hit a roadside sponsors paraphenalia hanging over the barriers on one other stage.

i cant see how ciolek wouldnt leave. Like you said, he would have to be a soft cock not to

at the very least take the money and run.

Bennati is damn good. I think Ciolek is faster.

Ofcourse, speed is not everything, you need to be able to use what you have.

I think Boonen and Bennati are on a level, just below Ciolek.

Then Steegmans, who handles his bike like a bus in China. If Steegmans could sprint in traffic, he would be near Ciolek.

Then Hushovd below those guys, with Greipel.

Mcewen below them now, time to retire Robbie.

    Evans staying with Lotto

Who have they signed to help him? or who will they?

Rogers anyone? Not enough cash maybe but he can expect a drop in pay after the columbia and blood transfusion problems.

For evans to stay on, surely there is or will be some names signed soon for some help. i mean more than wegelius (is he another close friend of evans? seems to fit that bill). heisnt bad but isnt exactly going to be tearing up the cols.

with Rogers and Kohl he would have won the Tour by 3 minutes this year. Assuming he did not crash.

I forgot to mention (I noticed) that we missed the kiwi's birthday earlier this month. The old cnut turned 47 or around that number I think. Shit thats old. Do the legs and arms and stuff still work properly at that age? Amazing.

    46. Everything works but the back, it's farked up ATM :(

Evidence you're getting old - the reduction in hair on your head is matched with an increase in hair growth in the ears and nostrils. I need a farking flymo to keep it under control.
