Have you used the 09 stuff, or are you just basing this off of looks?

All I've ever done is grabbed Ergo levers long enough to go "What is that fucking lever doing right where I want to put my thumb" so I have no clues.

I dunno if this is testament to my bike-building ability :) or something to do with Campag being 'good', but I've built 2 Campag-equipped bikes for mates, all with brand new stuff, and both have done about 5,000km without the need for so much as even a minor gear adjustment!!! One was carbon Record and the other was carbon Chorus

I'm a bit jealous; the bikes I build for meself need more attention than that

I prefer working on Shimano (other than their really shit stuff below Tiagra). Dunno why, just do. I think I may find it just a little less fiddly. Probably I'm more used to working on it. I've farked around with Record, Chorus, Centaur, Veloce, Mirage, Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, Tiagra and even that really shit shimano stuff that doesnt have a name in recent years, so reckon I have enough use on them to comment.

ha! Same here. I'm still a little scared of Campag levers, coz I've only done about half a dozen, I'm always doing them for someone else's bike, and I'm worried that I'm gunna get the covers or bar tape stuck in the gear mechanism. :p

Hows this for an UNHAPPY act... My gf's sister and bf are over from the UK to settle in Melb... they're both looking for places/jobs/etc for the last two weeks... he's an 'arty something' and needs live/workspace.

So they tee up a place in Richmond, through some old hag who owns it... she calls me as their 'reference' and I feed her off some info about them renting from me etc... all is well... they 'get the place'...

Today they rock up to sign.... and she informs them someone else has come along willing to pay more, so either beat it or beat off. UNHAPPY act. they walked away... if they did end up beating it they're stuck with an UNHAPPY landlord.

I hate UNHAPPY acts. that is all.

If you wrote the reference in the same vein that you wrote this post its a wonder they were given the flat in the first place. I'm sure you could have expressed yourself without the need to use such objectionable language.

I think you missed the part where I said 'called'.... but that's ok, you're having a go at me so don't let details get in the way! Report my post if it offends. I've updated it since you found it so offensive... but you've preserved the original, so all is well....

    cheers mum.

    Goodness, me! So much unhappiness.

By quoting that which you found so objectionable you are guilty of the same behaviour you were castigating - top marks Mitosis!

Rabbit killer.....you sure gotta learn how to delete your posts. I think you have at least a couple of hours to edit / delete your posts.
    Opportunity lost.

GV will be totally distraught reading those naughty rude words

Ah another anomaly of sorts, no one takes much notice of someone using the word pr!ck.
