Evans can't beat Astana one out. He needs to talk to the Schlecks or start throwing some money around. Garmin are only going to ride for their high placings so they aren't much good to him. A long range attack in the Alps like Zulle or Chiappucci in the Indurain era might be the only other thing that could get him back on terms.

To see him swing his elbow was farked... 2kms at those speeds is all of 4-5mins... anyone can suffer for 4-5mins. I got a VeloStiffy seeing him attack, but needed some Sniff and Stiff action when he backed off and started dangling that elbow about.

Wiggins - Farkin awesome. Goes to show what dropping a few kegs can do up a hill. Makes me want to rent out a few Lindsay Lohan DVDs and skill up on bulimia.

Linday Lohan is my favourite coke-hag. I want to do a few lines off her back.

I was wondering why the front of it was yellow. Actually the Tibet thing is an interesting corollary. He does incredibly well for a pacifist.
Although having just read this Tibet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia they've not historically been as gentle a race as that Lama bloke would have us believe;)
    C'mon Cadel, fight the power.

Jesus christ, I've just turned the telly on after playing a set on the radio, and by crikey the bugger's gone and done it. How long ago did he attack?

He's been out for a while, doing it all himself.

    That is total ****....

1/ They work with Cadel trying to stay away - Astana have to chase like cnuts and Saxo/Highroad/etc all get a good sit and smash up the last hill while most of Astana are shelled.

2/ Cadel says f;cuk you cnuts and sits on the back of the break and Astana closes them down, nobody gets away.

Not a major Cadel fan, but gotta feel for the guy when he's made an honest effort to gain time yet he is denied.

Yeah i feel for him, he was going for GC time, not a stage victory. About the only time i dont want the break to succeed.

Exactly. Very farkin stupid of Cancellara and Riis.
Fabio should have been working with Quasimodo to get as far up the road as possible. Then the Shrecks could have had an easy ride as Astana churned through their transfusions trying to bring them back.

First Test just got interesting when I was thinking draw. 4 centuries in an innings for the first time in Ashes history and now the poms are 2 down for 17 needing 240. Hehe

That was actually quite a sht stage to watch. Negative.

I was a bit bummed for Casar too. Was hoping he'd win after he kept fighting back on the last climb

I dunno.....I look at the stage and evaluate the chances of Evans getting back any time and I just can't see it happening, so I think maybe Fabian and Co had a point.

However, it looked like Fabians plan backfired anyway because they were such a disorganised bunch 'o bastards preoccupied with discussing whether or not Cadel should be voted off the island or not, that they were back in the fold before they knew it anyway.

So none of them got what they wanted.

Law of the jungle however suggests to me that if a GC rider what's to have a dig, then your aspirations to win one piss-ant stage takes a major back seat, so suck it.

I've been away since Fridee attending to matters family and consequently cut-off from teh internets, otherwise any number of suggestions for wagyu preparation and consumption would have been winging your way ........ including strong hints that I should be invited to dinner :p :D

D'ya know what the marble score was?
