A very long, sad decline. One of my guitar heroes. Vale Glen.

    Well done classic!!

We are not really taking home the money with the TAN DP so far this year, though.

Do I get half a point for Hilary's political career completely croaking?

Straight to next year's DeadPool. Though even that might be too late.

I think he's making his movie debut as the old guy in Steptoe and Son.

I just saw other disturbing photos of Gazza getting out of that car - with the robe open and his shriveled junk dangling. Fuck. Sights that cannot be unseen.

Shit. I watched some of his stuff on YouTube. Had no idea what a gun guitarist he was.

    Definitely underrated.

And no wonder he was in such demand as a session/studio muso (before he forged his solo career).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Campbell_discography#Album_appearances

I think the best demo of his virtuosity is him doing 'dueling banjos', 'cept he's on a guitar (much harder).

Getting tired of former pro athletes complaining about mental health issues and some going on to top themselves. Its complete nonsense and a pathetic response to the reality of life. We all experience highs and lows and sure enough the highs of a pro athlete must truly be extremely enriching in those very moments.

Instead of sulking about the past and how time has past you by - how about revelling in the fact you were even blessed with the ability and opportunty in the first place. Cherish it for the remainder of your days.

It appears as though the narrow mindedness that is such a crucial element to the journey to the top of the sporting mountain turns into the devil on the shoulder as the descent from the thin air unfolds.

The rest of us down in the valleys of mediocrity pity you not. Cry us a river you spoilt pricks - for we would cherish the possession of just one of your crowning moments.

Ehhhh they shit me with their lack of perspective post career.

    Funny you should say that.
I just rang my favourite neighbour to apologise in case she'd heard me screaming at people in the last couple of weeks, and she hadn't.
And seriously I grew up in the country, where noone could hear you scream, but in the city, you're pretty much public property. So I apologised for the high volume swearing, and the Australian Federal Police investigation for my arson threat, all of which she assured me she'd heard none of. She's fucking gold. And I'm not sorry that the mould problem I'd said was not from my place turned out to be not from my place.
And none of those things are related.

As I said, life is fucking amazing.
