I know I know; amongst all the people who peg themselves every day, the death of this chicks makes an impression on me, probably coz I recognise her, she's young a pretty, and appears to have a pretty good life. Ah well. Fark! Jeebuz. But there's gotta be more to it than "she was sad about being isolated in Sydney after leaving all her friends and family in Perth.

Yeh. still riding per se but not 'training' or racing. Doing some gym/core stuff. the Glasshouse/lexus centre is freakin awesome!

Having said that I've given up on studying for today. Guinness and nachos (weird combo I know) give good mental relaxation....

Same number as you.:p Amateur sixes are crap. I have no idea why Olman and Howard are racing third-rate bike races in Europe when there are so many second-rate ones they could ride back home.

BTW - the pro sixes are NOT crap. They are tough, and thats even when the racing is 'organised' or even up for gigs. Merckx reckoned the sixes were tougher than the big one day classics. Hinault rode Stuttgart one year and got his arse handed to him. I know some old dudes who reckoned the old Melbourne six-day was way tougher than the Sun Tour.

Sounds like a plan, so the loop it is. 40-ish km Pokolbin-Broke-Pokolbin.

Anyone have suggestions for a place to eat? The only places I have any experience with are Peppers restaurant (Chez Pok, or something?) and Roberts restaurant at Peppertree (which is no longer owned by Robert)

Anyone bringing children? Coz that will alter the choices a little

My folks back in Vic near Aireys Inlet have had almost 100mm over the last two days. It's good, the pool will be full, the tanks are probably overflowing and there might be a puddle or two in the bottom of the dams. Also flooding nearby with the river at 3.09m at last check. Highest level recorded for sunday was 141mm
