The Thread about Nothing....

Ease up. I'm just an innocent turtle trying to make a few friends in this world. I'm not sure 'awesome' was my taxonomy of choice. Lyrically or otherwise.

Whats this about? I figured love would shine through
We've lost romance this world has turned so see through

I go to these places
Intending to think
To think of nothing
No anticipate

And somehow expect
You'll find me there
That by some miracle
You'd be aware

Ha! The cool kids don't go to PBK no more; 'we' go to Chain Reaction, Wiggle, Ribble or Total Cycling

Aren't those English stores? I remember going in the ribe bike store in Preston, England when Paul Hewitt was the wheel builder there - that's when they go their ace reputation. Paul left to start his own place and the store went down the sh1tter in a big way...

Paul = wheel building God. I'm actually half tempted to ship my powertap hub back to England and have Paul build it up on something nice...

Yeah now that your currency is in the sh¡tter, prices in the 'UK' - and by UK I mean Tax Haven Ireland - are cheaper than Australian wholesale.

So now instead of getting all your criminals, we get your Japanese and Italian refugees too!

Eh, build it yaself! Even I can build me own wheels; I've done about 30 builds and rebuilds. I've even got fancy and started doing 2-cross on the left rear. :D All ya need is lots of time and patience. :D

Sounds like being a colon surgeon. Sure, most of us could do it... but we just can't be arsed.

Race News:
paulambry (HCC team 3) and me (HCC team 2) missed the major rain in Ballarat for the state TTT champs. 46kms, 9 deg, windy, spitty. Out of the medals today for both of us. Elite dudes doing 69kms in the rain as we left. Bugger that!

9 degrees with a 30kph wind.. farken freezin'. But really, we were SO lucky compared to the poor sods that had to ride in the rain (the only compensation for them was the wind dropping to 10kph).

Great course this year. Loved the wind and the rolling hills - made it tough and interesting.

Speaking of music....

That farkin Skoda wagon ad is pissing me off. Nearly as much as Vadars beloved Sizzler ads from last year. Fark off bluebirds, fark off Skoda. I would not buy that Skoda thing if it was half price the frucking ad has peed me off so much.
