    1) Not on a mountain bike.

    2) There are only 4 places in the lower 48 where one can stand at "14,400 feet plus." (of course 3
    of those are in Colorado)

    3) Inside of aircraft is right out.

Actually, there are only 5 places in the lower 48 over 14,400 .... can't believe I forgot that one.

Hmm, you are incorrect. We were both on mountainbikes.

And Mt. Elbert is the hightest one at 14,440'.

JD and Darsh's ride on Mt Elbert (I believe it was that peak) is well documented.

Elbert?? at 14433? I knew it was possible (you can drive to within ~6 miles of the top). I didn't
know there was a legal route .... My apologies for doubting you.

Yes, as I have seen Darsh in the same lofty location.

    > 2) There are only 4 places in the lower 48 where one can stand at "14,400 feet plus." (of course 3

    14,443, to be exact.

    > 3) Inside of aircraft is right out.

A previous poster here (Matt in NJ) was a Loadmaster in the USAF and shared a pic of him riding
inside a KC-10 way up there.

    > Reco "There's high and then there's high .... you sir ... are high"

I'm high if 4,700 ft is high.

14,433 I believe ... but I haven't heard what route ... must have missed that part of the story.

Seen similar .... Inside aircraft should still qualify as "Urban" or "Trials" at best.

    Hmmm I just got back from 10,783 feet(13 298073E 3761942N) ... currently hunkered at 4,635 feet (13
    323986E 3770934N) approximately ... so I guess, perhaps, we're both high.

It's listed 14,433, though recent surveys have it listed higher.

    True, not real mountain biking.

A good place for Curly Howard if he was from North Carolina.

    Soc it to me.
