The long sleeve jersey under the short sleeve jersey didn't cut it today as it was in the 40s (5-9 celsius) and windy.

I'd like a nice long sleeve heavy weight (thermal) jersey. Preferably with rear pockets and some reflective properties.

Which ones do you guys prefer? I don't have any shops with them so I'll have to order it online.

Thanks for the advice.

FWIW. I think that if you ADD some arm warmers + a vest (I prefer a fleece vest with a nylon shell) over whatever you are already wearing then you should be good at 40ºF & above ... long pants are a good idea (vs. leg warmers).

For temps below 40ºF, I would consider adding a breathable, windproof shell.

Nashbar has a few fall/winter jerseys on sale right now. They always are running a sale of some sort and there's never any rush to order from them other than to be sure they have your size in stock.

I just ordered a couple of these to get a windproof front panel to wear over a couple of other layers:

It's just winter wear and as long as it lasts a couple of seasons and is visivble, that's all I care about. I can layer up to stay warm enough.
