I figured I'd forward the following intros and see if I'm the only dude who can remember some of these television series. If you watched these programs as a kid (as I did), please share your views.
Here's the first one:

Now the second:

The third runs faster than I can pedal:

This one was probably my favourite:

The next one:

And who can forget:

The one I recall from Australia was this one:

Neighbours, Cell Block H and Home and Away came far later.
Yeah... Skippy was big. Used to come on after school. Years later...a common skit two people would do at parties would be one clicking his tongue like Skippy... and the other playing Ranger Matt Hammond - interpreting all the details of the trouble someone was in...

The following was the first well-known series I recall going into colour. We had black and white T.V. but somone had a new colour T.V. and this came on. I was blown away at the time but now we have LCD colour T.V. and you can even get these old shows on DVD.

For some reason, Rolf Harris always reminded me of Australia as there was this T.V. commericial featuring Rolf. He was like the representative of Austrlia back then, way before Kylie Minough.

Yeah... he was the British representative of Australia. Coincidentally he used to plug British Paints in Australia "Trust British Paints... <pause with one hand drumroll on a paint can>.... sure can"

Rolf was a bit weird IIRC... but a bit less weird than Les Patterson...

LOst in space....awesome...My Heart rate monitor has morphed from the robot in lost in space...when I'm doing intervals it doesn't show the HR anymore it just says "WARNING WILL ROBINSON....WARNING

Joe 90...nahhh, not so good, but because it was the forerunner of "the Thunderbirds' & 'captain Scarlett' I'll give it an 8/10

Six Million Dollar man....nah, boring

You're Kiddin'? peyton Place?....Mork & Mindy was funny enough early, but a bit of a 'one trick pony'...ran out of steam pretty quick

Kung fu...patience, Grasshopper, one day I will have something interesting to say

O.K. some facts you may find interesting: Angela Cartwright who played Penny Robinson works today as an artist and also has her own website and blog. She still lives in L.A. but I find it interesting she was born here in England, in the Cheshire area.
Jonathan Harris who played Dr Zachary Smith is now dead. His English accent was always perfect but he was, in fact, part Russian and part Jewish.
Billy Mumy is a musician and has just released a new album. This is the guy who played Will Robinson, of course.
Lost in Space attracts two sets of fans: Those who prefer the first series in black and white and others who would rather have the more comical second and third series which were in colour.
Myself I prefer the first series in black and white. I haven't seen L.I.S. on T.V. in many years but I do have all the episodes on DVD.
