  1. Thrifty Bread Pudding

    4 cups bread cubes 4 eggs, slightly beaten 2/3 cup sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 4 cups milk 2 teaspoons vanilla raisins (optional)

    Preheat oven to 350 Place bread cubes in a slightly greased 2 quart casserole dish, sprinkle with
    raisins. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk, beat well. Pour over bread cubes,
    and stir to combine. Set casserole in a baking pan with 1 inch hot water. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or
    until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. 6 servings If adding raisin, put in as many
    as you want. Yum--Yum, Enjoy.
