I have an older set of Thule racks (bought them in Dec. 00) with the wide mouth sleds on them. I bought them mostly for bmx bikes, but now i'm getting into road cycling. The wide mouth does not close tight enough around the thin down tube on my road bike and because of this, my road bike wobbles quite a bit on the roof. I was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to only buy the fork mounting clamp that comes on the other thule models (velo vise, long tray) and attach it to my sleds.
