Been to my LBS today who are recommending one of these as the search for my new bike goes on. They do a built up one with a Campag Chorus Gruppo for just over £1k, and whilst it looks a nice bike I know nothing about them.

Another shop recommended Rondelli frames - I had hold of one and it was superbly crafted -you could hardly see the weld and the paint job was superb - but again I was somewhat put off by the lack of 'cred' attached to the name. Thing is I don't wanna miss a decent bike either - I just don't know how to differentiate.

Just wondered whether anyone had any experience of them at all as the othersI have now seen and therefore narrowed my choicedown to are a Pinarello Galileo and a Bianchi Veloce. For info the Pina was £1600, the Bianch £1100, Tifosi £1100 and the Rondelli £800.

All help appreciated.

Cheers

Pallman-Colstrop ride on Rondelli frames. Roger Hammond [of pallman-colstrop] rode one (carbon frame) to a 3rd place finish in this year's Paris-Roubaix.
