Doing my first ever time trial soon. I run triathlon on a Giant TCR-1 but use a forward seat post
and Syntace C2 aero bars. I do it this way to save (in theory at least) my hamstrings for the run.
For the TT I would like to try a more roadie position since I don't have to do a run afterwards. 'd
like to try the "big slam" position as described by John Cobb. Basically push the seat right back,
lower it slightly and use shorty aero bars such as my Profile Jammer GT's.

In the triathlon world there is some contraversy of steep vs shallow effective seat angles with most
of the more serious but not all tri-geeks riding steep. What is going on in the TT world. Are you
riding steep or shallow?
