So it's time to think about winter training grounds.
Lots of pros and wannabees have gone to places like Arizona
in recent years. But given global warming, how long can
that last?
In only a few years, Tucson will probably be either 100
degrees F in January or washed away by giant monsoons or both.
By great coincidence, today's NY Times article on global
warming in the Arctic mentions a boomtown that will surely be
the new destination. And you know they already have a
[censored] training ride: ladies and gentlemen, welcome to
Hammerfest, Norway.
