I was wondering what experience anyone has had with this
hear rate monitor. From the description, sounds like a
charm. But, does it make itself THAT useful? Just want to
make sure before I shell out the bucks($$).

I think I ruined my 2 y/o Sport Instruments HR Monitor after
taking it for a few swims. It was supposed to be watersafe.
Works, but has that annoying condensation behind the glass.

I've had mine for about three weeks. Works fine and it's not
overkill like some of the Polar products I've had. Actually,
the chest strap is more comfortable than the Polar ones. I
only take the watch off to sleep. Otherwise it's on
swimming, biking and running. Having your pace and heartrate
one display is useful. I give it a definite "yes" vote.

I was an avid Timex Bodylink user (purchased the first
version 2 years ago). I was impressed that when they came
out with the HRM function, it was compatible with all
previous components. Late last year, I received a Garmin
Forerunner 201 as a gift and have not used the Body link
since then. The Garmin is far superior having a combined
unit worn on the wrist~It is well engineered and has a
multitude of useful functions(including basic GPS
functionality). The only negative is not having an integral
HRM~that'll hopefully be coming in the next iteration of
this product.

Good Luck!! DIG
