Which of the two methods below would be more likely to be effective in preventing sidewall cuts
(e.g., cuts from gravel and/or road debris)?

    1) A coating of rubber on the sidewall (like Vredestein Ricorso, Rivendell RollyPoly), or

    2) A layer of Kevlar-reinforced material on the sidewall (like Conti Gatorskin and some others).

    Thanks for your opinions,

    Jean
