I need new road tires. I've been on my stock Michelins (I didn't look to see which kind) that came with my OCR-1. It's time for a change. I know I have 700x25 but I'm thinking about going to 23.
I don't want to spend a fortune on tires. So far I've had 2 recommendations - the Kenda Koncepts and the Maxxis Dominator. Both run about $12-15 each when on sale (now).
any thoughts? Suggestions?

Some will say rubber's rubber -- but I like the look and smell of Vredesteins. The Tricomps (not the Fortezza Tricomps, which are costlier) and Volantes are nice, and can be got on sale for around that much dollar-age.
Maybe a little to thick, but I love the Specialized Nimbus EX (700c)tires that came with my Sirrus...I liked them so much I bought a pair for my gf's Fisher MT (26"😉bike...
