I am looking for a light weight tire good on wet rocks and roots and that sheds mud well. So far I am considering the following:

Ritchey ZED Race - would 1.9 or 2.1 be better?
Hutchinson Mosquito - although they no longer make this tire - is the Bulldog a replacement for it?
Panaracer Cinder - states a weight of 530 grams, but believe it is more like 560
Maxxis Ignitor
Michelin Comp S Lite

Any comments on the above tires or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Some nice rubber is mentioned there certainly but I would add one more to your list

Continental Vertical Protection, ideal for the type of terrain that you mention

Cheers
