Today I have been mostly playing with Oxy-Acetylene!

I managed to get my hands on an oxy-acetylene rig today which allowed me
to tidy up a couple of the less than perfect brazes on the frame. While
I would not claim perfection, they are definitely better than they were!

Tomorrow will be spent sanding the frame (I got sidetracked by some
urgent overtime today!), and then applying paint. I'm hoping to be
riding it on Wednesday!

Photos and site update to follow!

<respect> You are building a frame!? You are now tasked with a full
writeup and piccies at each stage to boot.

DKUATB. This is Richard ( following on from Geoff, and Desmond two).

Told you that Oxy-fuel would be much nicer. Just got to source the
frames for my next project..

Does this mean that the rear "triangle" of version 1.5 *did* collapse? ;-)

Fraid not! It is still very much alive and well, but the bike has been
re-christened "Hooves of Density" due to its phenominal weight!

Two reasons:

1) The false bottom bracket allows for the chainstays to be further
apart without needing to be far longer.
2) Mitring a tube to meet another at that angle is horrendous.

The false bottom bracket also allowed me to get the chainstays slightly
lower which reduces the incidence of the chain hitting them.

Another stage completed. More piccies online. Assuming nothing goes
wrong, it should be on the road on Wednesday.
