I'm a newbie looking for my first true road bike (been riding a trail bike with slicks the last couple of years). I'm about 5"11" but only have about a 30" inseam. From comments I've seen the geometry of the LeMond Tourmalet would seem a good choice for someone with my dimensions. Unfortunatley I also think steel would be the best frame material given my cycling profile and Tourmalet went aluminum for 2004. Are there any other bikes in the circa $1,200 range that I should consider? Thanks in advance.
