I think that the top 3 are right, Healthnet definetly number 1 The rest is up in the air, Jelly belly will probably get some really good guys. all though i think West Virginia wont be up there, neither 5280/subaru. Don't forget Webcor or snow valley. they might be riding well. I think the biggest surprise will be Wheelworks as i have heard that team will be nasty. Hamblen and Dietrich are staying so i have heard, and they have got a bunch of other super strong guys Going back to the team and i have heard rumors of some super strong new riders.

Ten shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be ten. Eleven shalt
thou not count, and neither count thou nine, excepting that thou then goest on to ten. Twelve is
    right out.

The USPS domestic squad is weak when none of the Euro style guys are out. I would put Colavita up
with Healthnet and 5280 out of there - they simply don't have the maturity. Navigators is always a
crap shoot that I wouldn't bet on because they're so hot and cold; great talents but you just
can't tell what kind of year they'll have. As far as Jittery Joes, its not clear whether they
could adequately support O'Neal when needed, but he surely could be the guy to push them to the
    next level.

Where is Lemond fitness/Blender/CRA-Z soap for 2004? Did anyone remember any of the other teams? I
think you could move Sports Book ahead of Wheel works, who had a lackluster season (comparedly
    speaking).

I now await Laudien's bashing...how long will it take?

    Hey Frank:

Is Lance riding for the "US National Team sponsored by Skittles" or Motorola?

If it's the former, I'd move them up ahead of Saturn.

Sorry to keep you waiting. My comments are below...

    > The USPS domestic squad is weak when none of the Euro style guys are out. I would put Colavita up
    > with Healthnet and 5280 out of there - they simply don't have the maturity. Navigators is always a

I agree with all of that. Good analysis. The only things I would perhaps have comment on is that I
think the Navigators will be more consistant and much better than in past years with the experience
of last year adn the additions of this winter. And I think team support is a bit overrated. You
could put 7 cat 2's out there with him, and O'Neil would do just fine in most of the US races. Field
sprints excepted, the results and selections are made by the best riders at the toughest points in
the race when most guys don't have teammates around anyway. Teammates provide good insurance and
some added security, but when you are talking about the Horners, O'Neils, and Llyswens of the US
peleton, those guys are pretty much ok on their own.

    > Where is Lemond fitness/Blender/CRA-Z soap for 2004?

Wasted question. Worst team in 2003. I'd be surprised if they field a team in 2004. Eneasy Freyre,
Nic Brown, both very good. Innes, I've always been a big fan, but he disappeared. Crater saved the
season by getting some good results at the end of the year. This team has some of the pieces to make
a good run of it, but obviously something didn't
click. I suspect that the problems didn't come originate from those turning the pedals.

    Did anyone
    > remember any of the other teams? I think you could move Sports Book ahead of Wheel works, who had

Thanks, but you would be incorrect. Wheelworks will be better than Sportsbook.com in 2004.
Wheelworks and Snow Valley should easily find themselves among that top 10 list.

What the hell are you talking about? GREG AVON is the best in North America if not The World.

Lemond Fitness/Blender/CRA-Z Soap WILL DOMINATE IN 2005!

B-mark lost some folks this off season (but not Ollerenshaw - apparenlty didn't get a contract).
Still probably one of the teams to beat in a good amature race. I'm pretty sure they will never
challenge in an NRC crit with their squad.

I find it very amusing that nobody has given Mathis Brothers their due. We have been one of if not
the best Amateur team for two years running.

    Thanks, jason

  13. ???.. you guys blow!... no way are you better than snow valley... how old are you guys?... hang it
up wadell... you guys sit in all day and make it in the top ten in the sprint by sucking wheel...
none of you are even sprinters so why not attack and try to win rather than grind away trying to
"get a place" and break even on all your trips... i have never seen any of you throw down in a big
race... you follow follow follow and in a real hard race you arent anywhere to be seen... get out of
here with that "we are the best crap"...

Do you have the same NRC reach as WW/Bmark? I know you guys have done well regionally, but esp in RR
and stage races (and amateur nats), they seem to have guys up there. Maybe I'm wrong as I rarely
venture outside WA state to race.

Amusing? What's amusing is: 1. blowing your own horn 2. calling your self number one for two years
when in 2002 GoMart was the best amateur team and this year Snow Valley is and 3. unlike Mike Jones
    your not a Pro

    Probably because of Snow Valley.

    Thanks Eric,

You just confirmed to me what people have said about you for years.

I really enjoy it when people who don't know squat scream to the high heavens.

You really must pay more attention in the races.

    all the best, jason

Maybe it is the categories you are doing.......

You need the "full time job" category or.....the "Truck-driving Motha" category
