anyone used them ? thoughts ?

i think i'll buy some soon, ive got some 12 and 24 hour events coming up that i'd like to do so i need some decent lights.. anything else out there thats comparable that anyone would reccomend ?

Only negative thing I've heard about the Topeak lights is that the std battery doesn't offer a very long burn time - fine for commuting but not for 24hr racing

from just quickly skimming over those sites from what i can see their lights are all either heavier, less burn time or less light

the topeak ones have a 4 hour burntime on 10w (HID so should be equivvilent to anywhere from 35-45watt halogen) and 4.5 hrs on 7watt

also they only weigh 640 grams having a LI-ION battery its prettymuch as light as possible with that sortof power

aah... actually followed the link this time

this new model has fixed the short battery life problem of the old one - looks like a good light now.

what do they cost?

ahh im not exactly sure, they would be more expensive where i am than alot of other places but about $575-$620 NZD (http://www.xe.com/ucc/ ) retail mabie but i work full time in a bike shop so
theyre not exactly cheap but look like very good lights, im borrowing my bosses regular moonshine HID (not the enduro) for next wednesday when i go nightriding so ill see what its like. then i will probly get the enduro
