I've never used a torque wrench before but am starting to feel the need for one. What I can't decide is whether to buy one or two. Park Tools sell them in the 0-60 and 0-600 in-lbs ranges. Given that I intend to use it on my suspension fork internals (around the 20-35 in-lbs mark) as well as the usual jobs, would I be able to use the 'larger' one? I can see how it would make the job a bit trickier but is it an outright bad idea? For that matter, does precise torque matter that much in forks or is it just in the manual for liability reasons? Or should I just stop being such a tech geek and pay someone else to service my forks for me?
Edit: Some of the bolts in the fork are require a 20mm hex, will i even get a socket head for this that will fit a precision wrench?
