Well, as the 2004 TdF begins to wind up, it seems apparent the fellow American (and Texan) will win his record breaking 6th Tour. I don't know about all of you, but I followed every stage closely and am almost sad to see it come to a close. But like all tour before it there are definging moments like the musette crash of 2003, the "look" of 2001, etc. There wasn't too much drama in 04' compared to 03', but denfitely a good race, and many things to remember.

In your opinion, what was the defining moment of 2004's Tour? For me, I found Voelkler's performance inspiring?
