So! The Tour de France is upon us!

This years prologue: Tour de France 2010 - Stage by stage

Flat with the exception of a few bridges. Only a couple of tight bends but I think the roads are fairly wide as Wiggins has said he'll only have to brake for one corner!

Could be quite windy, chance of rain for the late starters. Definitely a course for the time trial specialists so I'm going to have to pick Cancellara to win this. He'll come in just under 10 minutes I think and a good 10 seconds clear of his nearest challenger. Millar to come second, Wiggins third.

Armstrong, Evans, Contador should do well. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Schlecks lose 30 seconds here.

nice prediction!! almost nailed it right on!

Was a good start for Armstrong. Cancellara looked like a man amongst boys though (for now). Though only about 5 secs separate Armstrong and Contador, I hope Armstrong's performance indicates the he will be contending throughout. I think the loss of Leipheimer may have hurt him last year, Levi got off to a good start yesterday as well.
