Brief Description: The North Florida Bicycle Club brings you a classic one-day bicycle event designed for the touring cyclist, the 15th annual Tour de Forts. Choose a distance of 18, 30, 62, 75, or 100 miles. Enjoy a wonderful bike ride with pre-ride snacks, rest stops, a post-ride lunch, mechanical support, motorcycle escorts, and roving sags.

Fees: $25 for current or new members and $30 for non-members

Ride route descriptions: The 18 and 30 mile loop is ideal for families and newer cyclists. The longer 62, 75 and 100 mile routes are for more experienced riders. All routes are very flat. The shorter routes include big planes and Florida wildlands. The longer routes add ocean views, river views, Amelia Island, and Fort Clinch.

Registration periods: To register and receive a free event t-shirt, you must register by Wednesday, April 19th. There is a late on-line registration period from April 20th to April 26th, but you do not get a free t-shirt during this registration period. After the late on-line registration ends on April 20th, you can only register the day of the ride ($35 cash or check and no t-shirt). Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by April 12th.

Registration ends April 19th: Register by 3PM EDT Wednesday, April 19th and a free event t-shirt is included in your registration fee. You can order extra event t-shirts at $10.

Late registration ends April 26th: If you do not register when the normal on-line registration period ends on Wednesday, April 26th, you can register during the "late on-line registration" period from April 20th to 3PM April 26th. The fees are the same, but a free T-shirt is NOT included. However, you will save at least $5 compared to the day-of-ride fee.

Day of ride registration: You can register on the day of the ride, but we encourage riders to register early. The price for all day of ride registrations is $35 (cash or check only) for all riders (members and non-members alike) and does NOT include a T-shirt.

Club membership: If you want to join the club or renew your membership, you (and your family) will receive the reduced ride registration fee of $25 per person. Club memberships are $20 for individuals and $25 for a family.

Schedule of events: You can pick up your wristband ID, t-shirt, and route map at the high school when the doors open at 6:30AM. Riders doing the 62, 75 and 100 mile routes will start at 7:30 am. Riders doing the 18 and 30 mile routes will start at 8:30 am. Lunch will begin at 11:00AM and end at 4:00PM. Sag support also ends at 4:00PM.

If you cannot attend and still want your t-shirt: If for some reason you cannot attend the ride after registering, you can pick up your t-shirt at the next scheduled Tuesday NFBC club meeting or have someone pick it up at the ride for you. Otherwise, it becomes the property of the club.
No rain date, no refunds: Sorry, but there is no rain date and the club cannot issue refunds.

Staying over: The ride headquarters is located approximately 4 miles from the Jacksonville International Airport. There are numerous hotels located around the airport.

Directions: From I-95 northbound, take exit number 363A, Duval road east (just before the airport exit). Go east on Duval road for two miles and turn right onto Highway 17 when Duval Road ends. Go 1/10 of a mile, turn left onto Duval Station Road and continue for about 1 mile. Use the Starratt Road entrance on your right. Publix will be on your left and will be open.
