    G'day,

So who's doing the tour of the Southern grampians?.......I'm told that they have 'heaps' of entries in C & D grades, not so many in A & B. Should be a good weekend away. We're staying in hamilton, cos accommodation in coleraine is scarce. I haven't seen a 'profile' of the course yet, so i'm not sure whether there are any 'nasty' climbs hiding there!. The 110km on the Sunday should be interesting, long distance for this time of year. i imagine most guys are building now for road season (late april kick off in the northern combine)...so who's going?

    cheers,

    Hitchy

I take it that you are racing? Which grade?

Do you have an URL for race details? (yeah, I COULD google for it... but Hitchy's in the know already.. :p)

Not if you're using a news reader :)

Well spotted though - I'm switching from the ng to cyclingforums.com website intermittently.
This site doesn't seem too accurate with marking posts as read so I'm undecided as to making a full switch.

Too hot for me to race tonight. I had my bike ready here at work just in case the cool change came earlier.

    G'day,

Its never too hot to race!.......It just makes the beer taste better at the end. On my commute home last night I was hallucinating...all i could see was the condensation running down the side of an ice cold 'crownie'.....turns out it was just sweat on the inside of the sunnies!,

    cheers,

    Hitchy

    What would it take?

If beer doesn't do it for you.. what about ice cream? Bucket of ice water over the head? Locking yourself in the fridge at the local bottle'o? Cold shower? Hose down by an understanding "friend"?
Running through the sprinkler in the backyard? (Water Restrictions still in place throughout Victoria)

It's only gonna hit mid-30's.. that's not even warm enough to cook an egg on the toptube.. or is that just because it keeps falling off... hmm...

On-Topic: I don't think I can make the Tour (sorry Hitchy, maybe I'll buy you a beer somewhere else?) because I'm jetsetting away on April 1st (unless it's all big joke..).
