  1. Squeezed in one last Corbett for 2004, although the fact that I was the
only car at the parking area should have told me something.
I had hoped the front would clear south before I set out, but no such
    luck.
Easy cycle up the tarmac and then track along the lochside to NH353803
where I left the bike by the stream. Then straight up! The bottom bit was
steep and slippery and soaking wet, but higher up it was an okay ridge and
plateau. 1 hour cycle, 45 min up to the cairn. In the rain and cloud just
above the tops. A short flurry of snow while I was chomping my pork pie
and it clear off! clouds on the higher peaks but could see the immediate
area well. Didn't stay to long on top owing to my soaking wet feet. I had
left my walking shoes on the radiator at home 8-( Luckily I drove up in my
old trainers, but would have to drive home in them, so saved my seal skins
    for the drive back.
Anyway, all was forgotten when I saw an eagle soaring above me on the
    descent 8-)
Easy cycle out, except for one long uphill section. 3.5 hours rt.

    Happy New Year to all!
    Rob
