Buttermere East 2-day backpack report/photos uploaded from Thursday and
Friday.
A circuit of the mountains around the East side of Buttermere, including
an exploration of the recently promoted top of Honister Crag, a fine
little top on the edge of the plunge to the valley.
Approaching Dale Head the wind was so strong we scaled the little rock
outcrops on hands and knees at one point, but again we had a great clear
dawn and sunrise at the pitch with a panorama of mountains.
