Ok all, need some help!

Looking to get a trailer for the kids (one four year old, one four month old) and riding with the wife in the afternoons and weekends (you know, that family time thing). ;)

I need the bikes, and the trailer.

For the wife, I liked the looks of the Kona Smoke, which retails for 419 Euro here. For moi, I liked the look of the Kona Dr. Dew, which seems to be a nice, robust road bike with a few cool doodads (disc brakes, etc), and retails for 1099 Euro. They are within my price range.

I found very little information or reviews on either model checking the usual sites (roadbikreview, etc). Any comments? Looking for reliable bikes that will make riding about an hour with the kids (on asphalt) fun and enjoyable for the entire family.

Any comments on either bike?

Any contraindications to hitching a kiddie trailer to a Kona Dr. Dew?

How about the trailers? I am looking at:

1. Burley DLite

2. Chariot Carriers (Deluxe Corsaire 2 Child)

3. Winthur (the Danish outfit)

All three of these will set me back something in the range of 550-600 Euro, and all three appear to be well made, comfortable and above all safe for the kids.

Does anyone have any models and can anyone comment on their pros and cons?

Thanks a million, and apologies for the long post!
