Hi all, I am after a decent training book to put together a decent regime. Up to now I have just ridden/ raced as I wanted but next year I would like to be more constructive. So what books out there could you recomend? I have been on Amazon and there are a few but I want something serious without the usual rubbish that you normally get, that is half of the book on set up !! I just want a book that will give me ideas on building a plan for winter throught to the race season. cheers nath

I've read a few books on the subject and the one that I got the most use out of was Chris Carmichael's "The Ultimate Ride". I think you would probably get the most bang for your buck from reading that one, I used it when I was first starting and had pretty good results from doing so. I'm assuming that you don't use a powermeter. If you do, you can do much better.
