My goal is to ride from San Antonio to Portland in a little more than a month for a charity ride. I have 1 and 1/2 year to prepare for it. Since the route goes over the Rockies as well, I want to train for high cadence.

Right now I'm pedalling at around 100 RPM. What are some good excerises/drills to get that higher? And keep it up for long distance? I don't the speed matters as much.

Thanks.

keep at it...

maybe ride a lower gear than usual to get your legs used to a higher cadence...

but at 100 rpm i think your pretty much there already for the ride your looking to do....

maybe 110 rpm in to get used but you'll be right..
