I am training for the Leadville 100 and I am wondering what type of training I should do to finish this monster under 9 hours.

What type of ride is it? What is your current level of fitness and experience? How long do you have to prepare? and What aspect of the ride will be the greatest challenge to you?

Been There, Done that. WILL NERVER, EVER do it again. If you are just thinking about training for this years ride, it's too late.

As far as training goes, HILLS. Not just little hills but Mt. Evens three times a day form Evergreen.

Really, It's a hard ride. It is fun though. Good Luck!

I'm going to give myself three years to train for the ride.
