Just purchased a timex speed and distance system with the data recorder. The training software that came with it is less than useful. I'm looking for other software that will accept downloads/imports from the Timex data recorder. Any suggestion would be greatfully accepted. I've done some research but little is written about the interfaces. Experience/comments with any training software package would be helpful!
I like PC coach with Mike Piggs triathlon training software. It accepts downloads from the Timex system. It's a really nice way to set up a training plan and keep track of your progress. The web site is http://pccoach.com/ I trained for my first ironman this year using the this training and finished in 12:27 at Lake Placid.

You should return your timex and go with the Polar 625x. The S/W included is more than anyone can have time for all the features. Also, the Polar is single unit with foot pod instead of needing the gps band like the timex. So there is less to attach to the body. -Dave
Thx Fedoc for the Mike Piggs PC coach pointer. That looks good and works with the Polar. Its on the wish list right after Polar Power Output sensors. -Dave
