Alright guys. I've been riding bikes since I could walk, but all dirt jumping and street bmx. I don't know too much about road cycling and I want to get into it. Been lurking for sometime on the boards and I know there are tons of "what is best bike to get for new guy" threads, but most I have seen on here and elsewhere have referred to the TREK 1000 for a great starter bike. I'd be using it for a 10mile round trip to and from work to start and definitely be upgrading components over-time until I can afford a super good road bike if my desire becomes heavy into road cycling 
. Now, Ive come down to a Trek 1000 to look around for or maybe a different one if someone could point me to a better used bike. I found these two listings on ebay...can anyone give me insight if they are good deals or not. Prices are cheap for sure but is there something I may be missing before I bid on them?
