I guess Trek 1200 should ride the same, same type of frame I believe. IMO, Tiagra (1200) and 105 (1400) feels roughly the same to me, would had gone for the 1200 (cheaper by S$500) if not for the RED colour.
You might not like the stock saddle (I didn't). I just replaced it with a Fi:Zi:K Arione, really nice on my butt. 😄
BTW, you are looking for the 2004 or 2005 model??

I got a 2004 model at a knock down price. I prefer the look of it to the '05 and I believe the spec is the same.
I absolutely love it! Especially considering the saving I made.
