Trek 1200 - what year is this?

    I'm trying to do some research on a Trek 1200, it's advertised as a 1998 (with the seller admittedly guessing at the year model) but from what I'm finding online I think it might be a 2001. Can anyone here help me identify the year of this bike?

    According to BikePedia, it looks like a 2001 minus the top tube graphics. Also appears to have non-stock fork, wheels, seat post, saddle, stem.
