  1. i am in the process of buying a Trek 2.1 should i wait for the 2011 or get the 2010
    any advise would be appreciated

    There will always be a newer bike just around the corner. At some point just buy one and say Yipee, I got me a great bike.

    Now on the other hand you can save a lot of money by buying last years models often. Maybe you should see what sort of 2009 model you could get with the same amount of cash.

  3. Thank you for your advice. no one in montreal has the trek 2.1 left in stock. is there any other bike you can recommend that is comparable to the 2.1. The other bike that was recommended to me is Specialized Allez Sport. Thank you for any and all information.

    Go get a test ride on an Allez Sport. See what you think. It's a good bike. Virtually any bike in the price range your targeting (judging from the two bikes mentioned) will be a good bike. It all comes down to what fits, what feels good on the road, and what tickles your dainty bits.
