    thanks,

I just bought a Trek 5000 last month. I'm 6' I was fitted at my LBS he recommended 58 for my build. Works for me a very comfortable ride.

  4. Everyone is different...I'm 6'1" as well and most of my bikes have had a 57cm seat tube.

    (damn these stumpy legs!!!)

  5. Yup, I spent hours getting fitted & riding different bikes. Wound up on a 56cm, to my surprise; I'm 5'11", ~34" inseam. The LBS guy who helped me said it looked like I had more of my leg length in the calf than thigh, compared to others he'd fitted. I just felt too stretched out on the 58.
