What's a fair price for a used (2005) Trek 7700 in what appears to be pretty good condition? It's this bike right here:

Also, I'm not very expert so is there anything obvious to check before buying (look it in the mouth, kick the tires kind of stuff a non-bikie like me might not think of)?
