Trek FX WSD vs Specialized Cirrus Women's

I have my search narrowed down to these two bikes. I will be riding 50% road, 50% gravel or hard-packed dirt bike paths. I have ridden both at the LBS but can't decide. The Trek 7.2 FX WSD is $100+ less than the Cirrus, but I am willing to spend more if there is a reason to. Or should I go up to the 7.3 FX? Any advice?

I am a new rider and am 5'4" and 170 pounds, in okay shape from working out three times a week with a trainer.
